G8DX QRT
In May 2023, G8DX went QRT from England. After 17 years operating from a tiny 0.11 acre plot near Bath, the single Versatower BP80HD was taken down and loaded onto a trailer, along with another BP80HD to be transported to the new 33 acre Pumsaint QTH in West Wales. Two local friends brought their Maintou telehandler along to lift the base plate mount over the garden fence as it was too narrow to fit through the garden gate.Â
